Is nutrition coaching right for me?
1:1 coaching is ideal for you if you are aged 45+, a frustrated dieter, fed up with yo-yo dieting, ready for a change, you’ve tried everything and you want to take back control to enjoy lasting weight loss.
It’s not for you if you want a quick fix, to be told what to do or you’re looking for instant, dramatic, short-term results.
Does it matter how much weight I want to lose?
Not at all. From 5kg to 50kg+, or just to maintain your weight as it is.
What if I’m taking weight loss medication?
This is the perfect time to work on behaviour change. The chances of weight regain after treatment are high, but are more positive when lifestyle interventions are part of the process.
How is coaching different to slimming clubs or other diets I’ve tried?

Will you give me a meal plan to follow?
No, but we can create one together if you would find that helpful.
Why does coaching cost a lot more than the other diets I’ve done?
Coaching is an investment in you, your health and your future. You benefit from a high level of personal attention from a qualified, experienced specialist who understands your needs and wants you to succeed. I’m available when you need me, for questions, reassurance or advice.

Am I guaranteed to lose weight?
No. I will do all I can to help you, but I can’t do it for you. Your weight loss results depend on your commitment to the coaching, with me supporting you all the way.
How are the sessions structured?
- 1 x 90-minute session, with summary notes sent to you afterwards
- 3 x 60-minute weekly nutrition coaching sessions to get you started with building new habits & behaviours
- 4 x 60-minute fortnightly sessions as your confidence and autonomy develop
There are also mid-session accountability check-ins by text or email and ongoing background support whenever you need it.
